Overview
The client was looking for a cool, chilled-out elegance with the space feeling warm, cocooning and timeless. Sustainability was also of importance, with many items of furniture repurposed.
Design Concept
Earthy tones of pink, brown, beige and green with an abundance of textures and natural tactile materials.
Scope of Work
Space planning, wall, ceiling and wood trim colour selection, furniture selection, lighting design, and alternative dining table choices due to the position of the external kitchen door.
Highlights
Custom-built kitchen island utilising the client’s old sideboard and second-hand scaffold boards, along with the use of sustainable materials such as marble and second-hand wood products to enhance eco-friendliness.
Result
A truly cosy, unique and warm aesthetic which has taken the property from bland and boring to seriously cool!
